When you accept yourself, you no longer depend on others to accept you. Allow no one to hold you back from becoming your true self by controlling, limiting, repressing, or discouraging you.

Some people will try to bring you down in life. They will  make fun of your dreams and put your personality to the test; they appear to be victors. In reality, they’re just highlighting their insecurity and envy.

“DO NOT ALLOW THEM TO DRAG YOU DOWN. BELIEVE IN YOURSELF AND ACCEPT YOURSELF, AND STICK TO WHAT YOU BELIEVE IN”

When you try to help a lot of people, you tend to make things worse for yourself.” While a little self-sacrifice is admirable, denying yourself of too much will drain you. Most people won’t even notice that you’re in need by then because you’ve always been the one to offer. Make sure you look after yourself. Self-preservation is not selfish; it is necessary for a fulfilling and happy existence.

Stop feeling sorry… You don’t have to apologize for your laughter, how you dress, how you style your hair, how you apply makeup, or how you communicate. You don’t have to feel bad about who you are. Do it without fear. It’s time to accept that this is you, and you’re going to have to live with you for the rest of your life. So start to appreciate your sarcasm. Your clumsiness, strangeness, strange habits, your unique sense of humor, your voice, abilities, everything. Simply being yourself will make your life so much easier.

Start paying more attention to your gut feelings and instincts. Listen to your soul when you know you need to do something, leave somewhere, quit that job, break up with that person, or invest your money in anything. You are the one who knows what is best for you. You already know what will make you ecstatically happy.

You’re unhappy because you’ve been relying on yourself for so long that you’ve lost touch with your intuition. You’re unfulfilled because you’re just existing with no one paying attention to you. You already know how inventive you are. You are aware of your dreams. Pay attention to your inner self. Pay attention to your gut feelings.
